A Conversation With The Resourceful Christine Frazer

Christine Frazer works as an H.R. consultant, based out of Bend, Oregon.

Does that sound interesting to you?

Well, I’ve got to be honest here, when I was first given Christine’s name (and, especially, her job title) as a potential guest for the show, I was a bit…  Well…  Hesitant.

Human Resources consulting?  How interesting could that be?

Well, as it turns out, absolutely fascinating.

Because Christine has an absolutely fascinating backstory.

Because she’s spent time in prison.

Because she’s spent time in multiple prisons.
Okay…  She wasn’t a prisoner – she hadn’t committed any crimes – but she spent more than a decade working in prisons and jails, all across the country, and she has some amazing observations and insights to share.

Christine also works as a public speaker AND as a meditation guide.  At one point during the episode (about 2/3rds of the way through) Christine takes the time to outline an insanely clever and creative way for someone like me – the poster child for A.D.H.D. – to settle in to a manageable meditation regimen.  Rounding out our conversation, the last four minutes of the podcast are spent with Christine giving a guided meditation.

You can connect with Christine on her company’s website – HR Any Day – along with Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Lastly, here are few quick highlights from the interview.
